I’m at the new Salt Lake City Main Library on a public computer terminal. There are so many… eh, interesting people in the public library. Particularly on the first floor, where you don’t have to sign in (i.e. have a library card) to use the computers.
Someone seriously needs to hand out deodorant samples here.
Last night I went to dinner at Guru’s with Patrick. We had a nice, if low-key, time and it was fun to remember all the times Scott, Kalina, and I had spent there. I talked to Kalina for like two hours today at work (”work!”) and we were remembering all the fun (and hell) of high school, so it was a kind of nostalgic day, but in a really good way.
After dinner, Patrick went home to study for midterms, and Darrell and I went to Cahoots and ran away from slightly scary older men. Then we very ashamedly (is that a word?) watched the final episode of The Bachelorette. I’m so embarrassed! But I have to admit that I think Trista is adorable. In that gay man/straight woman sort of way, of course. She reminds me of my friend Lauren from high school.
So, after shameful reality TV (which I rarely do), I came home and finished the right hand side of this blog, with all my favorites and crap. Let me just say, I am fully obsessed with Nate Berkus. The man is far too hot to be straight, and, come on, he’s an interior designer!! He’s been on Oprah regularly lately doing various room makeovers—and he’s good.
The beauty of this hottie is that he’s not a flaming queen. Not that I have anything against flaming queens. I just don’t usually have massive celebrity crushes on, say, RuPaul.
Geeez… “crushes.” What am I, a 12 year old girl?
Anyway, in all honesty Nate Berkus could be straight; he’s butch enough. But that would make him the first straight male interior designer in history, wouldn’t it?

I am desperately trying to get (buy) duplicate of camel’s head black/white photo shown in Nate’s tour of his home on Oprah show a few months back.
Photog is Christopher Makos. His web says they don’t know?
STRANGE! I’ll bet YOU can help me! Got an e-mail for Nate’s office so they can help me? Many thanks. Elizabeth
