Not to mention the ever-present Catholic argument in favor of procreation, encouraging population growth in countries that are already dangerously over-populated.

There was an episode of Red Dwarf that had a news segment talking about a found page that is believed to be missing from the Bible. If proven genuine, it is the missing first page and says, “Dear Mistress, I hope you enjoy these stories. All characters and events are fictitious and any similarities to reality are purely coincidental.” (paraphrased) Ya think da Pope would have a problem with that?

Religion - a crutch for those who can’t handle the thought of their own death. Or any other kind of thinking for that matter.
