In my ongoing yet sporadic series of real Utahns’ letters to the editor:
Recently the police investigating the Columbine High School massacre released their findings. There were boxes of information about the massacre including videotapes, papers, maps, guns, ammunition and a lot more.
What I found interesting is that the police department, teachers, principal, superintendent, counselors, psychologists and others couldn’t figure out why Harris and Klebold would commit such a horrible act. They both came from good upper-middle-income families. So what caused their violent behavior?
I hate to say it, but the answer was right in front of them. It was even written on Harris’ T-shirt: “Natural Selection.” Natural selection is a Darwinian philosophy which is taught in our schools. Yet all the professionals missed it. Why? Because they are unwilling to accept the evils that come from Darwin’s theory of macro-evolution. Darwin even states that for the process of evolution to work its mechanism is natural selection, which is better understood as the survival of the fittest.
All Harris and Klebold did was to act out what they were taught in school. They became the strongest preying on the weakest.

BARF. I guess the irony is that those kinds of people will, themselves, be weeded out by natural selection

If only that were true.
*sigh*
I agree in theory, but unfortunately, people such as this letter’s author are, generally, also responsible for Utah’s highest-in-the-nation birth rate.
Be fruitful and multiply, after all.
Though I don’t know for sure, I suspect that the author is Mormon, and we Mormons can procreate better than even Catholics.

Actually the author of this letter sounds like living proof that evolution doesn’t necessarily weed out the weaklings (or weak-minded)….I wonder which is worse, Georgia or Utah…
