While innocently surfing the net for porn, I stumbled across several pages of personal photos of a friend. Now, I don’t mean vacation photos uploaded to Ofoto. I’m talking VERY INTIMATE photos here, and it’s raised a few questions in my head.
Was it inappropriate to look at them? Should I tell the subject they’re out there? Is it wrong to forward them to all our mutual friends?
I suppose disclosure depends on where I found them. My friend appears to have uploaded them himself, so he obviously knows they’re out there. If they’d been on those “naked photos of my ex” sites, we’d have another problem entirely.
I could be wrong, I guess, but I’m pretty certain he’s aware since it was his email address listed under the invitation to “trade more pics or schedule a time to cam together.”
And yes, I looked at them. All of them—even the ones labeled “watch me take all 9 inches!”
I can say this: I’ll never look at him the same way again—literally. I had no idea such a little guy was so… capable.
But I didn’t forward them to our mutual friends; let he who discovers reap the rewards. Knowing my friends, they probably found them months ago anyway.
My biggest problem now is how I keep from staring next time I see the photos’ subject. He’s a cute guy and I blush easily!
I’m just waiting for the Dear Abby column about this.
