When it first came out I promised myself I wouldn’t resort to this. I said I wouldn’t ever stoop to this level.
But I give. I’m saying “Uncle.”
After all, it worked for a couple other boys I know.
So, here it is:
Whose ass must I kiss to get a Gmail account?
If it helps, feel free to substitute “kiss” for whatever verb is necessary…

Get in line, honey. I want Gmail too! Well, not really, but it would be nice.

It’s funny, the guy who invited me to joint Gmail hadn’t even seen my blog before. I had just left a comment on his *hint hint*.
I don’t have any invites - don’t know if I’ll get any, but if I do, I’ll keep you boys in mind. I already promised one to the boy I like, though :-p

Let it be known that just because Nick is offering to do whatever it takes to get a Gmail account, it doesn’t mean anything goes. You’ll have to deal with his boyfriend: ME!

I could handle that =D

I honestly don’t understand all the gmail hype. with owning my own domain, my host provides plenty of space and such for email. What gives?
Oh … and hello, Patrick. I shall check your blog out as well.

I don’t get the hype either. Mozilla & Thunderbird do the same stuff and are much better.
Interesting proposition though

Though the storage is a nice feature, I’m much more interested in the advanced spam filtering and especially the organization and search features. The idea of labels or categories to order your archived emails, rather than folders, is very appealing, as is google searching within my emails.

Nick
I didn’t want this to be my first comment to you, because I’m not done reading all of your journal yet. But you’re awesome. You’ve cracked me up so many times and I absolutely love your “Best Story Ever” about the subway and New York. I live in NYC, by the way. Anyway, I know this entry was posted way back in May, but I have gmail invites if you still need one.
