Guess I spoke too soon.
My dog deteriorated rapidly and unexpectedly overnight, and this morning she didn’t recognize anything; not me, not her bed, not food, not where her bathroom is. All she could do today was walk in circles, searching for something that seemed familiar.
The vet this evening said that Poco had a diabetic neuroplasty [...]

Yesterday I took my 14-year-old “puppy,” Poco, to the vet. She’d suddenly lost a lot of weight so I wanted to have her blood sugar checked. Sure enough, she’s diabetic, so I’ll be giving her twice-a-day insulin injections for a while. Though maybe not for that long since the vet tactfully mentioned that the one-year [...]

Well, The Wedding was spectacular. Seriously. From the food to the bagpiper (don’t even ask) to the hours and hours of bar service (God bless!)… it was all perfect.
I even made Patrick slow dance with me. Twice!
Patrick’s sister was gorgeous, too. She’s tiny, probably under five feet, and I think she looks like Reese [...]
