I’ve never posted a meme before and I was bored yesterday at a job so I decided I’d not only post one, but I’d make up my own. In looking at it, I can’t imagine there’s not a similar meme already out there, but I’m posting it anyway.

Narrowing my favorite blogs down was pretty tough; if someone’s on my blogroll, I like ‘em. But since we all know that even all-star teams have MVPs (I know, I know… sports references. Do I not know my audience or what?) …

I guess ideally I should have put just one blogger down for each question, but I can’t restrict myself to that. It’s way too hard. Though I am going to try to keep my better half’s appearances to a minimum, deserving as he is of more.

So, here goes:

Who is the funniest blogger?
Tough call between Dooce and Search for Love in Manhattan since both make me laugh out loud regularly. But my gay boy allegience outweighs my former-Mormon, Utahn allegience just slightly, so Faustus it is.

The smartest?
Tin Man or Kris.

The most thought-provoking?
Aaron

The most attractive?
Patrick, of course! Even if I’m a little biased, it’s true. I promise.

The best writer?
Dogpoet.

The most similar to you?
I really have no idea. Blind gut instinct tells me Sean or Crash, though.

The most different from you?
Bradford - no doubt.

Which blogger inspired you to blog?
Deb, Aaron and Tin Man.

Which blogger would you most like to meet?
I’ve never met a fellow blogger before. I’d like to meet the three people who inspired me to blog. And I’ve always wanted to randomly run into Heather or Beth, the leading ladies mothers of Salt Lake blogging. Patrick, on the other hand, would like to run into Heather’s husband Jon. And exactly for the reasons you think!

With which blogger would you most like to have a relationship?
Well, the obvious answer aside, I like cute, smart, and funny. So I have to say Sam or Crash.

With which blogger would you like to go on a date?
I’m positive Slate would be a fun date.

With which blogger would you most like to have sex?
Okay, okay; one more mention!

Who do you visit most frequently?
Sam and Tin Man

Who leaves the best comments?
Sam. Always Sam.

Blogger with the best eye-candy?
Mike and Ed. Their galleries regularly help me get through a workday.

Who should update more often?
Kurt.

Who updates the most consistently?
Joel, Thomas, and Ed - they’re really on top of him it.

From whom do you learn the most?
Aaron

Who should more people read?
Ryan, who reminds me that you can still find teenagers in that elusive “smart” variety.

Who is your guilty pleasure; the blogger you secretly love to read?
Toby

Blogger you want to catch up on?
Tom, Andy, and Brian.

Most welcome return to blogging?
Aaron and Timmy.

Who would you most like to emulate?
Crash. Everytime I read Twenty-Something it makes me want to be more disciplined in my writing.

Who do you recommend to your non-blogging friends?
Dooce, of course.

Who do you most admire?
Alright, I promise it’s the last time. It’s for all the reasons he already knows.

Favorite blog tagline, entry or excerpt?
There are a truly dozens of entries from Search for Love in Manhattan, but what stands out for me right now is an excerpt from the Education of Deborah Schwartz: “I have zero coordination. I fell down the stairs descending the subway yesterday. But, as I am young and vaguely agile, I jumped back up and pretended it was part of a jazzy morning routine.”
No matter how many times I read it, two years later it still gives me giggles.

Who would you most like to guest on your blog?
Mark. He’s always got a lot of interesting things to blog about.

Whose blog has your favorite design?
lovejunky, whose designs are is always interesting, provocative, or beautiful, or all three at once. And Adam, because Aristoi always looks so damn cool.

Put together a blogger all-star team; which five bloggers do you think should form the group blog to end all group blogs?
Faustus and Tin Man, for that New York wit and intellect, plus Heather and Deb so the funny women are representin’. And then me, because it’d be too much fun to not be part of that.
