Okay, I know.

“Tomorrow” turned into “next week.”

But I’ve been working on the post - really, I have. It has been a busy social weekend (more on that once I finish the NC Boys post), but the real problem is that there’s a lot to tell and I just can’t quite get it to sound how I think it should. I’ve only very rarely struggled with a post this much; I’m having trouble finding the right balance between writing about what we did and writing about how I felt, as well as the balance between what I should share and what should remain private.

I’m going to bed now, but tomorrow night I’ll look at it with fresh eyes. I know you’ve already been SO patient, especially since David & Chris have been gone for over a week now, but give me just one more day before you storm the Internet and revoke my gay blogger card.

Oh, and just because it’s taken so long doesn’t mean it’s going to be any good. So don’t expect much. I’m having some real writing issues lately and nothing sounds authentic, even when I truly feel like it is. But that’s another post entirely…
