The Sundance craziness has kept me busy, but updates on days 2-5 are coming tomorrow… hopefully.
Until then, enjoy this screencap of my desktop, courtesy of Twenty-Something Patrick’s tag a few days ago:
I keep a pretty clean desktop; I’m annoying like that. The non-standard files you see are my ever-present resume PDF and the search template for Zionide, which I’m still working on getting right. There’s sometimes an occasional porn file there, too. But, sadly, not right now; you don’t get a glimpse into what turns me on.
The image itself is one of my favorites of Greenwich Village, NYC. I downloaded it from Digitalnap several years ago… probably 2001 or 2002. Note the “DN” on the signpost.
And yes, I’m still running Windows98. Gimme a break - my computer’s seven years old.

Hey, Windows 98 is a cruel creature. It is stable and lasting for some and horribly crippling for others. Just be glad it’s working for you.

Windows 98? Oh my god… how can Patrick stand it?

Nick:
You have this combination of twists and quirkiness to keep me coming back to your site. You’re such a dork, in a nice way -Zach

“…an occasional porn file”? “AN”? Try at least a dozen any given day.
And yes, you are one of the lucky few who has been able to keep Windows 98 running so long. You get a medal. Now buy a new Dell!

You seem to be just as obsessive with keeping a clean desktop as me. Heck the only non-standard files I have on it as well is my also ever-changing resume.
